The Bielefeld site is the centre of competence for turning technology via the product lines: universal lathes (NEF), CNC universal lathes (CTX), vertical lathes (CTV), general purpose centre lathes (TWIN line) and turning and milling centres (GMX).
With these products, GILDEMEISTER Drehmaschinen GmbH operates in five of the eight product lines of the "turning" division and, with GILDEMEISTER Italiana, GRAZIANO and FAMOT Pleszew S.A., offers the most comprehensive production programme for lathes world-wide.
The company sees itself as a technological partner with its customers, and utilises the ongoing trend for integrated machining to gain a strategic competitive advantage. In contrast to the sales of standard machines, customer-specific technology solutions are increasingly significant.
